We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to develop in-depth knowledge in Home Enteral Feeding until September 2021,with the possibility of extending the post after that date.

We are looking for someone who ideally has both Paediatric and relevant clinical experience in Enteral Feeding however, consideration would be given to the right candidate, one who is able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the dietetic aspects of these specialist areas.

You will join the HEF Team who are based within Sheffield Children’s NHSFT and you will work closely with the Team Lead Band 7 Dietitian.

An Induction period or training and shadowing opportunities will be provided to ensure the leve lof competencies required can be achieved.

You will provide a service to enterally fed patients within Sheffield, aged between 0-19 years. The range of Specialist Dietetic Services include: Gastroenterology, Neuro-disability, General Medicine, Cardiology and Respiratory.

You will review this patient group via Outpatient Clinics, home visits, school clinics and occasional inpatient settings.

The ability to work as in integral team member of the MDT is essential. You are required to be motivated, enthusiastic, innovative and a proactive individual with excellent communication skills.

There will be training opportunities.

We currently provide placement opportunities for A and B placement students, you would be expected to help facilitate this. Additionally we offer students from thewider healthcommunity opportunitiestoshadow ourroles.

In January 2020 we will be delivering the BDA Paediatric Module 2 and you will be expected to have some input into this via the workshops.

If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
