An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Immunology and Infectious Diseases team at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Applications are invited from candidates with suitable training for the post of consultant paediatrician in Immunology and Infectious Diseases. This is a part time post attracting 7 PAs, based at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

The post has become available to support and develop the current service and allow succession planning. The applicant would have a specialist interest in Paediatric Immunology and Infectious Diseases and would join the multi-disciplinary team as a key member in developing the service going forward, in order to offer the best possible care to the relevant children and families.

Applicants should possess, or be within 6 months of receiving, a CCT in Paediatric Immunology and Infectious Diseases or show evidence of its equivalent if not UK trained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
