The Trust encourages applications from all backgrounds, communities and industries and is committed to having a workforce that is made up of diverse skills, experiences and abilities.

Recruiting for Italain Nurses!

We are looking for ambitious nurses for a variety of nursing grades and specialties – from acute medicine, elderly care and surgical to community nursing. If you are interested in working across sectors (so perhaps starting in acute and moving in to community or combining elderly and stroke?) then we will happily try and accommodate these aspirations and build a bespoke nursing role for you.

With a competitive relocation and benefits package (including flights, English language and clinical skills development courses) and supportive preceptorship programme which will assist you in your personal development, we truly believe we are an Employer of Choice for 2019/20’s best nurses.

Having won a national award for our clinical career development programme which can support nurses educationally through their Masters and results in working alongside doctors on what was traditionally the medical rota, we know that the opportunities here are first-class.

But don’t just take our word for it:

Kind Regards

Alessio Santangeli, Deputy Ward Manager - Medicine

An Italian nurse needs to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in order to be able to work as a nurse in the UK, this requires competence in the English language (IELTS or OET) in order to become registered. It will be a condition of interview that you are pursuing registration and we will make conditional job offers based on nurses acquiring NMC registration:

Cumbria isn’t the top tourist destination in the UK and a UNESCO world heritage site for nothing.
