Lead Nurse/ Nurse Advisor, dependent on experience, Occupational Health

Full or Part time, 25 to 37.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days

Following an increased investment in our Nursing staff, we are offering a great opportunity as a Lead Nurse / Nurse Advisor dependent upon experience within our friendly Occupational Health team. This is a fantastic position with the opportunity to work with our established team in progressing the breadth and depth of the service we offer.

We are committed to supporting continuing professional development and will support the successful candidate to further their knowledge and skills as both a leader and a specialist nurse.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Occupational Health Nurse, depending upon experience, to work as a Nurse advisor or with at least 2 year’s experience post OH qualification as a Lead Nurse. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, and willing to take a team approach to the delivery of our service.

We provide a comprehensive range of services for around 5,900 employees across two acute hospital sites and to a number of external customers. The post holder will be required to work across both our hospital sites as required.

You will be expected to attend the Trust’s Induction Programme for RNs, RMs and ODPs (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the programme lead if this is problematic:, lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area and classroom-based study days which run from 9am to 5pm.
