The hub of the Trust is located on the outskirts of Nuneaton and its services cover a large footprint, including north Warwickshire, south west Leicestershire, and north Coventry. We also provide primary and community services across Coventry, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and governance skills to join us in a newly created Associate Director of Quality Governance role, as we strengthen our approach to quality governance enabling us to ‘Go for Good’ and beyond. You will report directly to the Executive Director of Nursing and act as her deputy in all matters relating to internal and external quality governance.

You will join us at a time of great change as we embed our approach to staff empowerment, engagement and quality improvement working as part of a Foundation Group of Hospitals (with Wye Valley NHS Trust and South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust).

The post holder will be responsible for developing and embedding a robust strategy from ward to board for quality governance, assurance, and improvement. This will ensure that quality and safety are seen as the responsibility of all staff, supported by appropriately skilled and responsive Quality Governance and Improvement teams.

We have recently undertaken a review of our governance processes and structures; successful implementation and embedding of these will be a key priority for the successful candidate, providing a great opportunity to build a high performing team with an ambition to achieve excellence in patient safety and quality of care.
