An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the integrated commissioning agenda for children and young people across Kirklees. Leading the development of a commissioning approach you will ensure the improvement of outcomes as identified in the Kirklees Children and Young Peoples Plan and the Integrated Commissioning Strategy. The role is a joint post across Kirklees CCGs and Kirklees Council, as such you will need to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders whilst being able to work in a complex strategic environment.

The post will also have a number of specific functions including :

  • Being the lead commissioner for the CAMHS local transformation plan and manage a multi-agency commissioning team including clinical staff.
  • Being responsible for the joint commissioning arrangements between Kirklees Council and both CCGs in relation to the statutory duties required under the Children and Families Act.
  • Being lead commissioner for the looked after children health services

The post is initially a 12 month secondment opportunity so you will need the agreement of your current line manager prior to submitting an application.
