We are looking for an efficient, conscientious, well-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced secretary, with the skills to provide dedicated clerical support to both the clinical and administrative teams in the Breast Unit. The post will be based in the Breast Administration Office and offers the opportunity to join a well established, high achieving, committed multi-disciplinary breast team.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and have proven IT experience. This is a pivotal role in providing a seamless service for symptomatic breast patients attending hospital for clinical diagnostic assessment, surgery and subsequent treatment.

The primary function of this role revolves around the provision of day-to-day medical secretarial support for two named Breast Consultants, however, it is essential to help and support all members of the Breast Team by having a flexible approach to both workload, additional tasks and working patterns. Flexibility, prioritising a busy workload and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key requirements for this role. Excellent audio typing skills are essential.
