In 2002 Inclusion was created as part of the award winning South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, now known as Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. It was developed to provide evidence based innovative services to beneficiaries across England with the flexibility to provide local solutions to local communities but with the governance and commitment to quality of the NHS.

Successful in its endeavors, Inclusion has grown to both substance misuse and mental health services in the community, residential and prisons. Employing over 500 staff, including Psychiatrists, Counsellors, Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Drug & Alcohol Recovery Workers, Peer Mentors and Volunteers. We provide services to in excess of 19,000 services users per annum across the Home Counties, Midlands, East of England up to the North of England.

The range of services we provide allows us to work with our service users in prisons, extending this into community settings, tackling both substance misuse and mental health concerns. Inclusion has extensive experience of working alongside and providing services to Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authority Public Health Teams, Police & Crime Commissioners, NOMS, NHS England and a broad range of public and voluntary sector institutions. Partnerships are important to us, we work with a range of providers to ensure there are comprehensive packages in place for our service users.

In 2002 Inclusion was created as part of the award winning South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, now known as Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust. It was developed to provide evidence based and innovative services to beneficiaries across England. In 2016 Inclusion with fellow NHS trusts created the NHS Substance Misuse Providers Alliance (NHSSMPA) – a collaboration of 14 NHS trusts who work together to improve the quality of drug and alcohol treatment services.

Two secondment opportunities (up to 3 years) have arisen within Inclusion (as lead provider and part of the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) to lead the NHSSMPA/Gilead Life Sciences regional initiatives in the South and North of England to eliminate Hepatitis C. The opportunity is restricted to those employees who work within a NHSSMPA trust member service. These trusts include Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Central and North West LondonNHS Foundation Trust , Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Inclusion (Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust), Leeds and York Partnership NHS Trust, North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.

This initiative is designed to work through NHSSMPA community drug and alcohol services in the region to identify people who have not been identified supporting them into treatment and recovery.

This is part of the NHS England procurement and ambition to eradicate Hepatitis C by 2023. This role involves ensuring best practice is shared amongst NHSSMPA members and to support the roll out of initiatives across NHSSMPA trusts across in the North and South.

This role requires a skilled, dedicated and passionate individual who can work with a wide range of stakeholders including service users, ODNs, colleagues in NHSSMPA member trusts and NHS England to achieve positive results from the initiative for those who have Hepatitis C.
