Senior Clinical Systems Trainer

Fixed Term for 12 moanths. (Post can be offered as a secondment)

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Systems Trainer within the Digital Strategy Team at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This post involves working with the Lead Clinical Systems Trainer and the Digital Strategy team to roll out and train clinical systems, such as the PICS e prescribing system, to clinicians across the Trust.

Recognising the importance that our systems should reflect and support the way clinicians work, we are looking to recruit a member of staff with a clinical background. The role requires someone with a current professional registration in a healthcare field, and a passion for the use of clinical systems and technology to support and develop the provision of care.

The post holder will work with clinicians, suppliers and the Digital Strategy Team to ensure that clinical practice is at the centre of training. They will work on the design, development and delivery of high quality training courses and supporting user documentation. The role also involves the delivery of classroom and one to one training and support to all disciplines of clinical staff.

Experience and understanding of delivering training to groups and individuals is important, alongside evidence of involvement in implementing change and delivering projects. The role requires excellent communication, written and presentation skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
