Vacancy for a Nurse Practitioner (fixed term contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our inner city practice

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner / Minor Illness Pharmacist / Paramedic to work within our supportive clinical team at Eastville Medical Practice.

The vacancy is to cover study leave for our existing Nurse Practitioner, and therefore may also suit prescribing Pharmacists or Paramedics.

Our Practice is in the east of the inner city of Bristol, and we serve a culturally and ethnically diverse population. We have approximately 10,000 patients, many of whom experience socio-economic deprivation and associated complex health needs.

Our practice prides itself in maintaining a ‘team’ ethos, and we are committed to staff development. We are fortunate to have excellent working facilities in our new state of the art health centre. To find out more, please visit our website.

We are seeking candidates wishing to work 10 hours a week, over Wednesday and Thursday; shift timings are negotiable, between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

This is a fixed term post until 31st July 2020.

Whilst we do not adhere to Agenda for change payscales, we use them as a guide. This vacancy will attract Band 7 remuneration, dependent on qualifications and experience.

If you feel that this is of interest to you then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Closing date for applications is Monday 4th November 2019. Interviews are expected to take place the following week.
