111 Operations Centre

Advanced Paramedic Practitioner

 

Salary:            Band 7 (£37,570 - £43,772) plus up to 60% unsocial hours enhancements for weekend, public holiday and night working as per the NHS Terms & Conditions 2018 (pro rata for part time hours)

Hours:            37.5 hours per week – full & part time positions available

As the 111 service is available 24/7, the majority of shifts available will be unsocial and classed as out of hours. We can however, be flexible regarding days to be worked and contractual hours.

To further build on the work already done in 111 and our established infrastructure within the wider organisation and to ensure that our patients receive the excellent standard of care that we strive to deliver and that they have come to expect from our Trust, we are asking experienced HCPC Registered Paramedics who also share this passion for patient care to join us and help us to achieve our vision.

 

Based at our Operations Centres in Brierley Hill you will use your clinical judgement and critical thinking to identify and provide the best clinical advice to our patients over the telephone. Dependant on their individual needs you will also enable them to access the most appropriate source of care, completing ongoing referrals where necessary. You will also provide advice and guidance to our Call Assessors, Clinical Advisors and other clinicians within your area of expertise.

 

You must be able to work well under pressure, have excellent communication skills in addition to having a wealth of clinical experience.

 

Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and have a minimum of 4 years post registration & autonomous clinical practice or equivalents experience.
