We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

An exciting and rare opportunity to join The Emergency Multidisciplinary Unit (EMU) at Abingdon Community Hospital in Oxfordshire, has arisen. EMU is an ambulatory unit, working to deliver quality assessment and effective healthcare to the people of Oxfordshire within their own community, whilst being part of a great service which is fully aligned with current NHS strategic policy aiming to prevent unnecessary hospital admission. We encourage collaborative relationships both within the team and with other locality teams such as Hospital at Home, district nurses, GPs and SPA.

The service is open 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday, as well as providing a weekend and bank holiday service from 10am until 4pm.

If you are a nurse/paramedic who wants to make a difference in the provision of quality and effective assessment and health care, are committed to the multi- disciplinary concept of the team, then we would welcome your application for the position. We believe in having time to care holistically for our patients whilst embodying our trust values of safe, caring and excellent, working together as a fully staffed team.
