An exciting opportunity has arisen within LCH for a Senior Business Analyst working with the Major Change Projects Team.

We are looking for someone who will support the Programme Manager to successfully deliver projects within programmes of strategic importance to the Trust. You will lead on the Analysis phase of the projects and pro-actively be involved in the Development, Solution Design, Implementation and Review phases, ensuring projects are delivered in line with best practice standards.

You will have a sound understanding of the project delivery lifecycle, and will be able to speak confidently about the detail of business analysis activities across the full lifecycle whilst demonstrating organisational and accuracy skills for producing associated documents. Demonstrable expertise is essential in using the Microsoft suite of software, particularly Visio to a high standard.

The candidate will possess a good background in business analysis for large organisations, ideally in the public sector. A key attribute of successful candidates will be the ability to draw upon extensive practical experience of applying requirements management techniques from a range of delivery methodologies to present pragmatic solutions.

Successful candidates will be responsible for leading and setting an example. They will be proactive problem solvers with strong stakeholder management skills who can communicate equally effectively all levels within an organisation, and will be credible in front of all stakeholders.

It is important that the candidate possesses excellent communication skills both outward facing, to the business, and inward facing, to the project delivery teams. The candidate will need to be driven, pragmatic and completely focused on project delivery for business benefit.

Key Responsibilities
. Work as a business analyst in the day-to-day operation of assigned projects. Responsible for root cause analysis, benefits analysis, requirements elicitation and management, change management, piloting and UAT test practices in order to facilitate project delivery.
. Working collaboratively to identify, design and plan future state processes.
. Working collaboratively, to identify and resolve issues within challenging project environments whilst forging and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
. Advise Leeds Community Healthcare on aspects of Business Analysis including but not exclusively advice on requirements elicitation and management, change management, Piloting and UAT test practices.
. Assistance to management teams of continual process improvement at Leeds Community Healthcare.
. The role is based at Stockdale House, Leeds. However, you will be expected to travel frequently to meet stakeholders throughout the Leeds District and travel further afield as and when required by the role.
. Line management of a small Business Analyst team

There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
