South Western Ambulance Service covers the largest area of any ambulance trust in England. The information management team build complex information systems to aid the Service.

We are a small, friendly and very productive team of Developer-Analysts. We use a lot of Microsoft SQL, Power BI Reporting Services,, Tableau and Excel and are starting to explore the potential of R and Python. We are harnessing the power of information for the benefit of the Trust’s patients, team members and productivity. We need you to be comfortable handling large and complex datasets with SQL and getting the best from them. As well as your analysis skill if you’ve got experience in web development we’d be interested to hear more about that.

We need someone who is intelligent, a good communicator committed to service improvement, someone capable of delivering intuitive and transformational reporting solutions. We’ll want you to be curious and capable and keep looking for better ways of delivering reliable and useful information to the Trust. We provide time to learn new things, online training resources and we support flexible working hours.
