Salary: £17,652 - £19,020 pa dependent on experience (pro rata for part time)

Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is the largest provider of healthcare in the county, and we are always keen to recruit enthusiastic and motivated people to join our hospitals as Healthcare Assistants. We strive to deliver high quality, compassionate care for our patients and their families. A caring nature, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop are essential for this role.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with our Registered Nurses and other healthcare staff to deliver fundamental care to patients, including assisting with personal hygiene, toileting needs, feeding and mobility. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential, as successful applicants will receive a comprehensive induction on commencing the post.

As part of the induction process, all new Healthcare Assistants will be supported to complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate. This fantastic opportunity will allow you to gain formal recognition for the skills and knowledge you develop within the first 12 weeks of employment with Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are looking for caring and compassionate people who either have experience of delivering care, or are interested in starting a career in a healthcare setting. We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to work full time or part time, on a rota basis covering Monday – Friday, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
