Are you a Health Care Assistant; would you like to join the team working on our acute surgical admissions ward.

Are you passionate about providing quality care?

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly competent Health Care Assistant with the desire and drive to learn new skills to join the team on the Deene Acute Surgical Unit (DASU). DASU is the emergency admissions ward for general surgery, urology and ENT admissions, we also run a HOT clinic (admissions avoidance) Monday-Friday.
These posts will be on a rotational basis offering long days and long nights including weekends
As a ward we are invested in our staff and can offer learning opportunities regarding extended clinical skills such as venepuncture and cannulation.


We can offer part time or full time opportunities. So if you would like to join a ward team that is passionate about healthcare and committed to delivering high level of patient care then this may be the job for you!

Including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training record.

If your role requires you to have a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check, you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining this (£50).This amount will be reclaimed from your first salary. It is also recommended that following your DBS check you subscribe to the DBS update service.

Please note that news starters with KGH are subject to a six month probationary period.
