An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, forward thinking and IT savvy practice coordinator to work on a new innovative project of primary care delivery.  This will be in collaboration with Salford Primary Care Together and Langworthy Medical Practice as part of a pilot to test a new way of working to using technology and innovation.  The pilot period will end in March 2021, but there is high potential this can be extended further period of time pending the success of the project. 


This will be based in a new branch practice with a zero list size, and will open in September.  The target audience will be residents in the Salford Quays and Ordsall area to meet the demands of a rising population as a result of a rapidly increasing housing development market in the area.


The post holder will be expected to oversee the day to day running of the practice, which includes managing reception staff.  the role will be supported by practice staff and the practice manager based at Langworthy Medical Practice.  The role will further extend to having protected time to support the development of the new model of a “digital primary care service” and public engagement; of which a percentage of the time will be protected to undertake this element of work alongside the practice team.  The pilot will be evaluated at the end of the term with a view to officially procure.
