An exciting development opportunity exists for a passionate individual to join the Strategy and Delivery team at Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group in the post of Head of Strategy & Delivery – Children & Maternity. The post will be integrated into the new landscape for Children’s commissioning delivering against the priorities of the Children’s Plan and DCCG objectives, whilst being fully aware of the Integrated Care System priorities for Children and Doncaster Place Plan. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated individual to support the delivery of the Children and Maternity portfolio’s in redesigning pathways and making quality improvements to the services. This is an opportunity for someone who already has experience of strategic management, excellent partnership skills and competencies in strategy and commissioning. You will be educated to degree level, or equivalent level of experience and strategic management, be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to develop and lead specific projects and manage any associated change processes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day strategic management of the directorate

The portfolio of this role will include supporting all areas of the Children and Maternity agenda’s, in particular mental health, perinatal mental health, maternity and paediatrics. You will support service development and improvement programmes and ensure that our services provide the very best service to patients, utilising resources as effectively as possible. You will be required to deputise for the Head of Strategic Commissioning and Transformations required.
