We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Healthcare Assistant with proven experience, to join our wonderful team at our St Anthony’s Hospital, located in North Cheam on a Permanent and Full-Time Basis.

Shift patterns will be between the hours of 6am and 9pm, Monday to Saturday therefore please only apply if you are able to commit to these shifts.

Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team based onsite. We practice some of the most advanced treatments using the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, cosmetics and general surgery - all delivered through our expert and caring teams.

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be based in our Theatre Department where you will be pivotal in supporting our Clinical teams and Patients. This Healthcare Assistant vacancy is integral to the working dynamic of the team, ensuring that the department are compliant with regulations such as infection prevention and control.

You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment. You must have a willingness to learn both Venepuncture and ECG Recording.

You will also be part of a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, working as part of a team in the development of knowledge

Who we're looking for;

As an experienced HCA, you will be fundamental in providing Healthcare Support to our Nursing Team to ensure patients receive the best possible personal care.

  • System literacy is essential
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
