We are looking for self-motivated Physiologist to join our private hospital in Reading.

Spire Dunedin Hospital, has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years, as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading, the hospital has 2 theatres, 3 recovery bays and an Endoscopy suite

Duties and responsibilities

As a Clinical Physiologist at Spire Dunedin you will identify the patient’s diagnostic needs, which are realistic to their wishes and circumstances. You will use clinical reasoning skills develop cardiology or plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration their care, risks and wellbeing.

You will also develop a working environment and culture, which actively improves health, safety, security and infection control. Leading others in their development of knowledge, ideas work practices, planning, allocation, assessments and provide feedback to team members

Who we're looking for

  • Fit and analyse 24/48/72 hr and 7 day ECG holter monitors on the Spacelabs system (some still refer to it as Delmar Reynolds)
  • Fit and analyse 24hr BP monitors on the Spacelabs (Delmar Reynolds) system
  • Fit and analyse 24hr BP monitors on the new system
  • Fit and analyse patient activated device (cardiomemo recorder/ also known as a loop recorder)
  • Fit and analyse R-tests (software is on the Spire PC at the tech desk)
  • Undertake unsupervised exercise treadmill tests (GE machine)
  • Undertake ECG’s
  • Fit Bardy and Zio patches
