This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join the Community Respiratory team in Brighton and Hove as a Band 4 Associate Practitioner. You will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team made up of Nurses, Physiotherapists, an Occupational Therapist, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and Community Respiratory Assistants.

The aim of this multidisciplinary team is to support chronic respiratory patients in the community to manage their lung conditions on a day to day basis and to help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. As an Associate Practitioner you will have the knowledge, skills and expertise to undertake some elements of care and functions within the Community Respiratory team, offering support for all clinical needs. You will be working under the direction of a health professional, but your training and experience means you can often work alone and without supervision. As well as visiting patients at home, you will also assist in pulmonary rehabilitation classes and oxygen clinics.

We are looking for an excellent team player who has outstanding communication skills, a willingness to be flexible to deliver high quality care, and the ability to adapt to change as it happens.
