Our Sussex Community NHS Trust nurseries based in Brighton, Hove and Crawley.

We cater for 22 children at Hilltop Nursery, Brighton, 46 children at Butterfly Nursery, Hove and 36 children in Rainbow Nursery in Crawley.

The nurseries offer a 'home from home' atmosphere and have been rated 'Good' & ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

We operate all year, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 7pm, and staff work on a shift basis which changes throughout the month.

We are currently looking for a qualified level 3 and above Early Years Practitioner to join our team as a Senior Nursery Nurse, based at Butterfly Nursery which is located at Hove Poly Clinic in Hove but will need to be able to travel to the other nurseries in Brighton and Crawley to cover and support the Nursery managers and deputies in their absence.

The success person will also support the SENCO’s at each nursery by helping to update profiles and observations on individual children.

Applicants must have a Level 3 childcare qualification or above and be will to complete a level 5 qualification. You will also need a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); experience of working with children of all ages; experience of leading activities and supporting staff members and support with Special Education needs.

The role will involve working in a team to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage to the highest standards, working in partnership with parents and safeguarding children. More information about what the job will entail can be found by emailing .
