The Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS) is an exciting new service which combines the existing Leeds IAPT Service (offering “talking therapies” to adult NHS patients) with a broader mental wellbeing support offer based in primary care settings (GP surgeries, health centres etc).

The service will be delivered by a partnership of Third Sector and NHS organisations, comprising Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, Leeds & York Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, Northpoint Wellbeing, Community Links, Touchstone, WCTS & Homestart Leeds. LMWS is funded until at least 2025; it will employ around 200 staff, working in 7 operational teams, and will support up to 28,000 people with common mental health problems and more complex issues.

This is an opportunity for someone with experience of mental health support work and/or therapy services to help shape the new service, working alongside a team of Operational Team Managers, Deputy Operational Team Managers, and Clinical Leads.

Please note that we may close the advert early if we recruit before the closing date
