Are you an experienced mental health practitioner/manager looking for a new opportunity?
The CAMHS outreach service at Little Woodhouse Hall is a small established multidisciplinary team who work intensively with young people with complex and enduring mental health problems that exceed the remit of core community camhs and require more regular interventions to prevent them needing a hospital admission.
Currently based at a city centre location, but likely to relocate in late 2021 the team work Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm but are able to extend their hours to meet the needs of current cases on occasions as necessary.
The team manager will be clinical (expected to carry a caseload) and operational (will line manage the team). The outreach manager will work closely with the crisis team manager offering peer support and thinking collaboratively about the best possible care pathways for young people in Leeds.

Candidates need to be registered with a professional body e.g. NMC, HCPC, UKCP.
Candidates will have significant experience of working in mental health services, ideally with adolescents.
They must be skilled in assessment, risk management and able to plan intensive individualised interventions and work closely with families.
Experience of managing a team is advantageous. You will be a skilled and experienced clinical and case management supervisor.
Ultimately you'll have great people skills, be robust, resilient, compassionate and containing and have a commitment to making a difference to young people and families when they need it most.
