Apprentice Administrator

Norfolk Community Health and Care Palliative Care Service are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our Team. This post will primarily be based at The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House purpose built facility in Hillington and you will be part of a Team of highly motivated and enthusiastic staff whose primary focus is providing the best possible care and support to our patients and their families/carers.

If you are a committed and dedicated individual who has excellent attention to detail and good organisations skills, and are keen to learn new skills and lay the foundations for your own career whilst gaining a wide variety of knowledge, skills and experience then an Apprenticeship with our organisation could be for you.

You will be assisting in the day to day work of the Team/Service as well as providing administrative support for specific projects such as Education and Training and you will be using a range of software programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook and taking telephone calls, responding to emails and enquiries.

You will earn a wage whilst working towards a Level 2 NVQ – a nationally recognised qualification over a 12 month period. On starting, successful candidates will be entitled to 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays. You will have dedicated 1 study day per month plus 1:1 support throughout the Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the Team/Service.

The qualification is fully funded and you will not have to pay anything towards it.

There is an eligibility criteria for Government funded Apprenticeships schemes that applies and, therefore, applicants must be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. You must not hold a degree, or level four qualification or above..

However if you are registered with the update service this may not be required.
