Spire Elland has an exciting part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Team.  The successful applicant will provide high quality evidence-based nursing care, in a clinic setting to facilitate smooth and efficient outpatient clinics.

Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, and cosmetic procedures

Duties and responsibilities

The successful Outpatient Nurse will be forward thinking, and have exceptional time management skills. You will have the opportunity to cover a range of specialties, whilst working directly alongside the Consultants.

The Outpatient Nurse will Chaperone and assist Consultants during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures, assisting in arranging investigations requested by the Consultants.

The working pattern of the clinic is dependent between the hours of 08:00 – 21:00pm Monday-Friday & Saturday 08:00-13:00. You will be joining an already established team who have a great working environment and numerous training opportunities that will help you develop your potential.

Who we're looking for

You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration, with a high standard of clinical and surgical practice. You will be flexible in working hours due to the Consultants workload and have exceptional ability to manage their time. You will have experience with Complex dressing and wound care.
