Applications are invited for these 2 new 7 - 11 session new posts based at the Wrexham Maelor District General Hospital. The appointee will join five colleagues in Elderly Care. The posts have arisen from a need to reconfigure and strengthen our existing services. We realise that traditional daytime working patterns will not suit every applicant. We would welcome applicants who may wish to work part time or annualised hours. We provide a broad range of sub-specialities and would welcome a successful applicant’s choice of their exact job plan.

We welcome colleagues that want to take part in our GIM medical take but this is not essential.

The Hospital is superbly located in North Wales, with its areas of outstanding natural beauty, and within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool & Manchester.

You are required to be on the Specialist Register, have CCST’s in Geriatric Medicine (or Stroke Medicine) and GIM or recognised equivalent or be within 6 months of obtaining it at the time of interview.
