LIFEBOAT QUAY MEDICAL CENTRE- We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and enthusiastic patient services / receptionist to join our busy and friendly GP Practice. Applicants should have experience in customer service and working effectively as part of a team and be able to work in a fast environment. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, and be able to identify and respond to their needs in an appropriate and caring manner.

18 hours per week.

You will be required to:

Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

Provide general assistance to the practice team and undertake a variety of administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changing requirements.

Project a positive, professional and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

Can demonstrate empathy and tact to a range of people in an understanding manner.

Follow process, procedure and respect confidentiality

Ability to multi task

You will be required to work extra hours (overtime) when colleagues are absent due to sickness, holidays or other absences.

Part-time: 18 hours per week. Shifts patterns: 8am-1pm; 1pm-6:30pm; 2pm - 8pm
