We are looking to recruit experienced Senior Nurses or District already working at or have previous relevant experience at band 6 level

What's the job?

We are in the incredibly privileged position of caring for people in their own homes – generally, the place they prefer to be treated, rather than a hospital or other medical setting.

We are recruiting Senior Nurses and District Nurses to provide leadership within a Neighbourhood Team. Working with a Matron or Neighbourhood Clinical Practitioner you will manage a caseload and lead a caseload cluster of Staff Nurses and Neighbourhood Clinical Assistants, to provide excellent care for our patient population.

Our Neighbourhood Teams, offer seamless support and care in the community. The team consists of professionals in nursing, therapy with close easy access to social care provision. Our service runs 7am to 10pm every day of the year. The focus at all times is on the individual – helping them stay at home, or to come home quicklyfrom hospital.

Who are you?

You’re a dynamic, passionate and committed nurse with experience of case management and multidisciplinary working. You have excellent communication skills, resilience and great leadership potential. You are able to motivate and support others through change in order to maintain the delivery of high quality, compassionate, proactive and safe care.

We welcome applicants who have the Specialist Practitioner qualification to apply for the role of District Nurse.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
