Dermatology Procedure Nurse

North Middlesex Hospital

£60,000 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience

Omnes Healthcare in an award-winning healthcare provider that provides community-based specialist healthcare services nationally. Our services currently include Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology and Ultrasound.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated Dermatology Procedure Nurse, with a demonstrable clinical interest in Dermatology and Minor Ops, who can work independently in Nurse led and Consultant led clinics in the community to offer advice, counselling, education and monitoring of drugs and treatment regimes. The successful applicant would be expected to manage change, lead a service and apply up to date evidence-based practice.

You will be required to promote high standards of clinical care to our patients and to assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the dermatology service of the local population. The post holder will work collaboratively with the clinical team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures while providing supervision to more junior staff.

Candidates must have:

  • Current NMC Registration
  • Independent prescribing qualification
  • Evidence of professional updating
  • Evidence of post-registration training
  • Commitment to developing professional practice and skills
  • Experience performing minor operations, punch biopsies, excisions and cryotherapy
  • Experience conducting Patient follow ups and home visits

Desirable - Relevant Dermatology qualification such as ENB N25, ENB 393, N18 or equivalent or post graduate degree in dermatology
