Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Ref: WL96)

37.5 hours per week (negotiable)

£24,214 - £30,112 per annum, pro rata (Plus additional benefits)

Based: Morpeth, with flexibility

12 month fixed term contract initially

 

You will work within the MHMs new and innovative Talking Matters Waiting List Initiative IAPT Team providing Step 2 Telephone and Online support to IAPT services across the country. As part of a highly skilled team you will be supporting people to access assessment and treatment quicker thus promoting sustainable recovery.

 

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate high levels of written and verbal communication, computer literacy, and the ability to form good therapeutic relationships with people.

 

Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.  Please note:  if you are currently undertaking the PWP Post Graduate Certificate, you must be able to provide proof, from your academic institution, of successful completion of assessments to date prior to commencing in post.

 

You will have experience of working in primary care and community settings and be able to work on your own initiative. You should have a real interest in helping people with anxiety and depression to achieve a level of recovery which will improve their overall wellbeing and day to day life.

Terms and conditions for these posts are NHS comparable, not identical and the successful candidates will be employed by Mental Health Matters, a non NHS organisation.
