Assistant Director – Integrated Community Services (East)

Hertfordshire Community Trust is going through a period of significant change, and we are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring leader to be part of our senior operational team.

You will be involved in overseeing the operational management and transformational development of the services within your portfolio together with the Associate Director. This includes Integrated Care Teams and a range of specialist services (including countywide Nutrition and Dietetics and Diabetes services), tissue viability services and Healthcare at The Mount Prison.

You will provide strategic direction, leadership and management for these services and the whole Business Unit as required. This will include managing external relationships with partner organisations and commissioners.

A key aspect of the role will be to work with the current experienced and committed Senior Management Team in the Business Unit to build on the delivery of consistently high quality care and cost effective services. You will lead on delivering projects and service changes as required and the ability to thrive in a fast moving change environment is essential.

Community services are at the forefront of the NHS Long Term plan and so these are exciting times to be working in a community organisation.

This role will require you to be highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about community services. You will have a proven track record of working in a senior clinical or operational role and have a broad experience of management, including budget responsibility.
A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
This post also attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum payment of £1,762 per annum (pro rata where applicable)
