IT Project Manager - Band 8a

An opportunity has arisen for two experienced project managers to join the IT department team delivering IT-enabled change and transformation projects to BEHT (Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust).

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering an agreed portfolio of projects/programmes that provide strategic or operational value through the application of technology aligned to the Trust Strategy. Such activity will comprise either IT technical, transformational or IT application software, or a combination of both, however specialising in Wintel platform.

The role will need to work closely with all other parts of IT as well as the current outsourced provider (Atos), in ensuring a seamless introduction and migration of Wintel technology and supporting technologies such as LAN\WLAN and WAN to the existing IT operations. Of particular importance will be the need to work collaboratively with Trust business sponsors, stakeholders, technology providers and all other personnel who have a role to play in delivery of the agreed business benefits. Above all the successful postholder will deliver a customer service focus at all times.
