The IT Department at Northampton General Hospital is currently looking to recruit additional members to the IT Services Support Team.

The IT Support Team plays a vital part in maintaining business as usual services managing the Trust’s desktop hardware and software estate.

New innovative ideas such as the on-site mobile technician service, have introduced a positive change in the way we provide 2nd line support, as well as help raise the level of clinical and IT integration.

You will be to expected build relationships and be the central point of contact for managing all hardware and software issues related to your allocated areas, working in conjunction with the Trust service level agreement.

As a member of the IT Support team, you will play a valuable part in delivering support to a range of hardware and software solutions, including desktop workstations, laptops, iOS & Android devices, printers, VOIP integration and Microsoft Surface tablets running Windows 10.

Our ambition and vision as a group is to maintain our investment in new technologies and continue to high provide the high standard of support to our end users.

You should possess good troubleshooting skills and be able to work through issues logically to provide appropriate resolutions in a timely manner.

You will need to have broad technical knowledge/experience in IT hardware and software support, preferably in a similar role and this will be tested as part of the recruitment process.
