This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse who has specialist knowledge of Palliative Care, to join the existing team in the newly created Matron position at WUTH.

If you are enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated, seeking to drive forward the provision of high-quality care within the WUTH Palliative and Supportive Care Strategy 2109-2022, then this post is for you. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Nurse with experience at leading and developing a team. This full time position will be 50% clinical with direct patient care, and 50% managerial.

The post holder will report to and be professionally accountable to the Associate Director of Nursing/Divisional Director of Nursing. To undertake this challenging role in a large diverse division, it is vital that the successful candidate has recent clinical practice within an acute setting.
