We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic desktop Technicians on a fixed term basis to support the rollout of Windows 10 throughout Wiltshire Health and Care over a six month period.

Working as an integral part of a small, friendly team based in Chippenham Community Hospital you will help to ensure that we meet our commitment to roll out Windows 10 to all staff by spring 2020.

You will have demonstrable experience of supporting Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Products. You will also have experience of providing first line support, preferably in a NHS environment.

You’ll have a strong customer focused approach, exemplary communication and interpersonal skills and be confident dealing with customers over the telephone or in person. You’ll be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

This role will involve delivering and installing equipment across our sites in Wiltshire and you must hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.

Wiltshire Health and Care is a partnership, focused solely on delivering improved community services in Wiltshire and enabling people to live independent and fulfilling lives for as long as possible.

  • We are a limited liability company working under NHS terms and conditions as part of a partnership arrangement with three local Foundation Trusts which serve Wiltshire:
  • Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • Royal United Hospitals BathNHS Foundation Trust
  • Salisbury NHSFoundation Trust
  • We will be responsible for the delivery of adult community health services in Wiltshire from July 2016, for at least the next 5 years; however this role offers a permanent NHS contract.
