Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (BCPFT) is the major provider of mental health services to people of all ages in Sandwell and Wolverhampton, specialist health learning disability services in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. We also provide community healthcare services for children, young people and families in Dudley.

Memory Assessment Services

 Band 7 Team Manager 

Registered Mental Health Nurse

37.5 hrs Monday to Friday

Base: Brooklands Health Centre

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified mental health nurse to lead Memory Assessment Services across Wolverhampton & Sandwell

 The post holder will be expected to manage and support clinical and non-clinical staff with in the MAS service to deliver high quality clinical care. You will be expected to work with the multi - disciplinary team for patients referred for Dementia Diagnosis.

 You will be required to undertake a highly competent clinical role and have specialist knowledge and experience in patients presenting with Dementia. 

 The post Holder will be expected to contribute and support to the delivery and transformation of Dementia Services working to achieve the “Prime Ministers Challenge 2020 “ and the Dementia Sustainability & Transformation Plans.

 Applicants should have experience of working within Older Adults Services preferably dementia services at Band 6.

Therefore we are looking for someone who has a passion to make a difference, be highly motivated, caring, demonstrate compassion and possess excellent communication management and leadership skills.

It would be an advantage if the successful applicant was a car driver due to the nature of attending various locations across the Black Country
