An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sister/Charge nurse to join the Paediatric Accident & Emergency Department team (A&E) at Ormskirk Hospital.

As the successful applicant, as well as having A&E experience, you will have good written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of IT systems. You will also be required to manage the department on a day to day basis. You should therefore have excellent leadership skills, the ability to organise and use your initiative and be able to solve problems and contribute new ideas within a multi-disciplinary team.

A&E experience is essential and evidence of continual professional development is required together with management experience relevant to the post.
