We are one of the largest and busiest acute Trusts in the North West of England, comprising of the Wirral’s only Emergency Department. A post has become available for a Registered Nurse on M1 Rehab at Clatterbridge Hospital.

M1 would be suitable for a newly qualified, return to practice or an acute nurse with a background in Medicine or Surgery. We can also provide support for registered nurses that currently work in the primary care setting from nursing homes and the community and would relish the opportunity to make you part of our team.

M1 rehab is a 40 bedded ward which accepts medical and surgical patients from Arrowe Park hospital for Rehab with ongoing medical needs. The ward collaboratively works with the MDT team and our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team are based on the ward to provide joint care alongside our nursing team.

M1 is a busy, clinical environment with a leadership team on hand to assist you and provide support and in addition has a very visible Matron. M1 has very high standards of care for our patients and families and would endeavour to have committed individuals who are “like minded” to join our team. Caring is the essence of nursing.

We are looking for a nurse who shows empathy, compassion and has good listening skills and who would be an asset to the team but also the patient journey. We wish to promote independence for our patients and by setting goals for our patients through physiotherapy and occupational therapy we then can expedite our patients discharge safely.

M1 can offer flexible working contracts, full time and part time hours and we are happy to discuss these further to any interested candidates.
