East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust are looking to recruit a full time Service Manager for the Cancer Performance Team.

Job Summary -

  • To support the Operational Management Team in the improvement and development of systems and processes to enhance quality and efficiency across cancer services in relation to their performance and data quality function.
  • To provide effective and efficient leadership to the administration team through management of the Assistant Service Managers and MTD Coordinators and Trackers.
  • To lead on Patient Tracking List (PTL) and breach avoidance meetings with the relevant tumour sites.
  • To assist in the management of the divisions finances and performance targets
  • To support and develop processes for data collection and validation to meet national reporting and information requirements, including the provision of training on systems and processes across the Division as appropriate.
  • To support projects within the Division to ensure delivery of excellent clinical services and support the clinical teams to implement new ways of working eg. Quality Surveillance Programme.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with other divisions within the Trust to improve processes around the management of cancer patient, their pathways and wait times, leading to improved patient care and experience.
  • To support and develop business and cost improvement plans (CIPs)
  • To innovate more effective systems to benefit the Division and the Trust.
