Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed on Tuesday 1st October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.

Hours: 37.5 per week

The GHC IT Digital Development and Change team co-ordinates change management for Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The GHC IT Digital Development and Change team lead on digital strategy, development, co-ordination, planning, project and programme management for all IM&T supporting functions. This includes contract management, IT estate equipment and all IT services.

The role of the IT Project & Change Support Analyst is to support the Digital Development and Change Manager and be part of the wider IT Service team in its day to day operations providing a high quality IT Support Service; this will mean working with both the Technology Services and the PMO to ensure delivery times and Change schedules are defined and met. Provide quotes to users for costs of Changes, from either the service catalogue or in liaison with 3rd party suppliers.

The IT Project & Change Support Analyst will ensure that the day to day management of technology change services meets GCS KPIs and customer requirements for IT projects and work streams being delivered by any member of the GCS IT Team. Responsibilities will include managing and delivering some of those projects and work streams personally with the IT Project Manager.

The post holder will be part of the core hub that will manage real time communications with customers on the current status of IT Changes, liaising directly with any other Informatics team as required.

You need excellent communications skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clinical service staff. Good organisational skills and a flexible approach to work are essential.
