We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 SLTs to join our friendly, dynamic and forward thinking service.

You will be joining our service at an exciting time as we have recently become an integrated OT/PT/SLT Children & Young People’s Therapies Service so there will be opportunities for joint working with a range of other professionals.

You will be working collaboratively within early years and school settings to provide assessment and therapy to meet the needs of children and young people in West Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead) and surrounding areas. There will also be an exciting opportunity to work in a special school for children with learning difficulties.

As part of our 3 tier balanced model of service delivery we are committed to developing the skills of the children and young people’s workforce. You will be involved in the delivery of our high quality training packages for school staff, parents and pre-school settings, often in conjunction with colleagues in education, for example Elklan, SCERTS and PCI.

  • In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1017 and a maximum payment of £1,762 per annum (pro rata where applicable and dependant on base location).
