This exciting post will be within the Sussex MSK Partnership, which is a unique and innovative expert MSK delivery organisation that combines the best of our local NHS, specialist orthopaedic knowledge to deliver clinical designed and driven pathways of care to a single standard of quality and excellence for all patients designed according to their specific needs. Central to this is the focus on identifying what truly matters to our patients using motivational interviewing and shared decision making, providing patients with the information they need to be able to make informed decisions about their journey. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual, who has a passion to develop their skills and improve the quality of life and wellbeing for the many patients living with pain. The role will involve multidisciplinary team work with physical healthcare colleagues.

Our varied team consists of specialists from a range of professional backgrounds including psychologist, consultants, pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses, osteopaths and podiatrsts, engaging with patients through one to one treatments and self-management programmes. The pain pathway continues to be developed in the community with MDT and patient partner involvement. If you have passion for introducing psychology into physical healthcare settings, have excellent psychological therapy skills, and have experience of working with patients with long term health conditions, then we look forward to hearing from you.

The post holder needs to be a car driver and willing to travel to different sites as required in West Sussex. There may be some evening work.
