The Humberside Group of Local Medical Committees Ltd (Humberside LMCs) is one of a unique group of organisations that exist across the country to represent and support GPs.  We cover a wide geographical area that includes Hull, East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

LMCs are representative organisations.  This means that we have a membership of GPs elected by their peers to represent them.  Our members are grouped together into two separate LMCs that meet regularly to discuss issues relevant to primary care.  These are:

  • North & North East Lincolnshire LMC
  • Hull & East Yorkshire LMC

We have recently developed a new Strategic Plan which sets out a substantial programme of work that we want to achieve over the next three years.  This includes our response to GP resilience, recruitment and retention which is being supported by external funding from NHS England and is the driver for this recruitment.

We are seeking a Resilience Support Officer to support the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and to actively engage with GPs and Practice Managers to develop and deliver resilience support.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20 September 2019.  We will not accept any applications received after 9.30am on this date.

We will communicate with all applicants no later than Wednesday 25 September 2019 to inform them whether or not they have been shortlisted for interview.

Interviews will take place on 3 October 2019.

For an informal discussion regarding the post please contact Simon Barrett, Chief Executive on 01482 655111 in the first instance.
