What we are looking for

The successful applicant will meet the following essenital criteria:

  • registered as an occupational therapist with the Health Professions council
  • 2-3 years post grad experience working as an occupational therapist including working with children who require sensory intervention with a particular focus on ASD diagnosis
  • clinical experience in paediatrics and/or neurology
  • an understanding of current changes in the NHS and their impact on occupational therapy
  • experience of multi-agency and mulit-disciplinary working
  • experience with the assessment and provision of equipment
  • works to evidence based practice
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • committed to personal, team and service development
  • effective time management skills
  • computer literate
  • hold a clean driving licence and have access to use of a car, with relevant insurance

About the service

The successful applicant will be part of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy team, based at Kestral House but working clinically from Stapleford House. We are a well established, friendly and dynamic team, commited to offering the best services possible to our clients.The service offers excellent experience with training opportunities, regular supervision and appraisals.
