We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our Nursing Team on Ward 9A Elderly Care Unit at Lister Hospital.

Ward 9A is a 30 Bedded ward. For Elderly medically unwell patients.

The ward also cares for patients with dementia.

The primary role of the Registered Nurse is to provide a high quality, evidenced based nursing care to a designated group of patient working in collaboration with all the members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. We also work closely with the acute medical wards.

We also involve the patient’s family and carers as part of their holistic admission and discharge planning.

We pride ourselves in providing an excellent service to our patient and the community.

The successful applicant must be:
• Registered Nurse
• Have good communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to work flexibly within the department when required.
• Be forward thinking an innovative.
• Be able to work as part of the team or independently as required.
