An opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Associate based in our new ward at Kidderminster Hospital.

Wyre Forest Ward is a 16 bedded GP unit providing medical, rehabilitation and palliative care facilities to the local community. Wyre Forest Ward is a new ward on the Kidderminster Hospital site and the main focus is to provide integrated care to patients within the Wyre Forest, working closely with community teams in the area.

We require innovative, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team. Successful candidates will be required to participate in the delivery of patient care, give support to registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment. You will have a flexible approach to working and be willing to contribute in the development of the ward.

It is essential applicants have a Foundation Degree Nursing Associate qualification and GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent.

PLEASE NOTE: All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

The new post may differ in terms of the base, hours available (full or part time) or contract type (permanent or fixed term) and therefore you are encouraged to apply for advertised posts but specify on your application form your preferences.

**If the position being applied for requires a DBS check to be undertaken on you, it will be a condition of your employment that you have subscribed and continue to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. New employees to the Trust are required to pay the fee for the initial DBS check (this will be deducted from their first months’ salary) and the annual subscription (£13) to the DBS Update Service. The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
