An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, well organised and dedicated Neighbourhood Team officer, with excellent communication skills, to work within the Morley Integrated Neighbourhood Team covering shifts between 7am-10pm, 7 days a week

Leeds Community Healthcare provides a range of community based health services across the whole of the City. Adult services in Leeds are working with partners across social care to develop integrated services to support some of the most vulnerable people in communities across Leeds and provide high quality care to enable people to stay in their own homes and avoid hospital admissions

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for service users ensuring all telephone calls are received and dealt with in a courteous and diplomatic manner. You will have excellent IT skills and be able to prioritise workload accordingly. You will have experience of working in a busy office environment, working as part of a team providing an admin support function. You will be required to have good communication skills and be a good team player.
As well as accepting and processing referrals via SystmOne, ordering equipment for patients, you will also provide administrative support to the Integrated Team and be able to confidently liaise with professional staff members from across the Trust.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48.83 or Standard £30) from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
