An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Support Officer/Team Secretary to support the inpatient and outreach team in CAMHS. This is a new and varied role which is pivotal to the effective running of the service.

The applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work as a team player, but also have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will have the skills to remain calm during periods of pressure and be able to demonstrate exceptional skills in customer care and be able to adapt and prioritise your workload.

As an experienced secretary you will possess excellent organisational skills and be used to working with senior colleagues in a complex environment. In addition, you will be required to arrange and attend meetings on and off site and take minutes. Experience in line management is also required.

An extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/Outlook/Power point is required. You must also have the knowledge and experience of using NHS systems as well as being a proficient audio/copy typist.

It is essential the post holder understands and complies with the need for confidentiality and integrity, whilst having a professional attitude to work.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
