Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is a single commissioner for health and social care, comprising a partnership between Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Manchester City Council.

Manchester currently has 89 GP practices, three major hospitals, a mental health trust, citywide social care services, a range of health improvement services, and many voluntary and community organisations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to work within the MHCC Primary Care Team as we look to implement our local transformation agenda as outlined in several strategic documents including the Manchester Locality Plan, Manchester Strategy for Primary Medical Care, Manchester Strategic Estates Plan and the emerging Primary Care Strategy for IM&T.

The successful candidate will have a track record in delivering projects and will have experience of working with primary care within a health and/or local authority environment; and will adhere to a robust project management approach to ensure that projects and programmes are planned and managed effectively to deliver value for money in a timely manner.

If appointed you will be fully supported in terms of your personal and professional development and, where appropriate, expected to undertake Continuing Professional Development.
